Team membership is mandatory

Joining or Creating a team is mandatory. If you dont have a team you can create one or join our HACKMEX 2025 Slack and ask for any teams with available spots.

NOTE: You can only join teams based on your current category (eg Education, Government or Professional)

Team captains are responsible for their teams

Team captains need to approve or reject members BEFORE the competition starts at 30th of August. After that date only approvals are allowed. It is the responsibility of the Team Captain to make sure their team members are the right ones.

In the team page provides an Invite URL that you can give your teammates to find your team easier.

There are no Team and Category changes after the competition starts

Once the competition starts there are not team or category changes allowed. If you joined the wrong group and/or team contact the support BEFORE the 30th of August.

Respect the moderators and other participants

Other participants and the moderators are not part of the competition targets so don't abuse or attack them. We take abuse reports very seriously and an offense like that can get you permanently banned from this as well as future competitions.

DO NOT perform DoS attacks

Don't DoS the targets, services or players. if you need concurrency in your tools make sure you keep them into sane numbers. The systems will automatically block players who exceed the limits. If you get blocked join the HACKMEX 2025 Slack and notify the support for the block to be lifted.
